Water from the river of baptism
The Jordan is where Our Lord was baptized. Scripture names this river more than any other body of water — from the Upper Galilee down to the Dead Sea. This holy water is imported directly from the Holy Land.
A sacramental, not a souvenir
Holy water is a sacramental of the Church: ordered to faith, blessing, and the remembrance of baptism. Use it to sign yourself, to bless a room or threshold, to mark the start of prayer. It is not magic. It is a sign that points beyond itself.
Keep it near the fight
A small bottle by the door or on the desk is enough. Make the Sign of the Cross with intention. When you leave home, or when the night feels heavy, let the water recall whose you are.
