What we celebrate
September 29 marks the Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. In older English usage it was simply Michaelmas — a quarter day, a hinge of the year, and a reminder that heaven is not empty of warriors.
How to keep the day
Pray the St. Michael Prayer. Read Revelation 12. If you wear a Michael medal, have it blessed — or renew the intention with which you put it on.
