Tepeyac
In 1531 the Blessed Virgin appeared to Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill. The tilma bearing her image remains in the basilica; the Church has long approved the devotion. Guadalupe is the Marian heart of the Americas — conversion, motherhood, and the Gospel given to a people in their own tongue.
