Scivias
St. Hildegard of Bingen · 1141–1151
Scivias ("Know the Ways") is Hildegard's first great visionary work: twenty-six visions of creation, redemption, and the Church, dictated under obedience and sealed with episcopal approval in her lifetime. As a Doctor of the Church she is not optional color for the Middle Ages — she is offered for teaching. This hub gathers the pages we host so readers enter by vision and virtue, not by novelty.
How to read Scivias here
We publish Hildegard gradually, with summaries and cross-links. Begin with the saint page for St. Hildegard of Bingen, then hear the same light in her chant: O Virga Ac Diadema, Columba Aspexit, and O Euchari.
Further visions will appear under this hub as reviewed summaries are ready — never as an undifferentiated public-domain dump.
